Our Story

Matthew Claunch, Owner

I am a native Nashvillian who has been in the construction industry for over 20 years. I got my start working as a project manager for a custom home builder in Franklin. I have had many different roles within the construction industry which has given me some invaluable experiences. I love helping people and seeing a project go from just an idea to reality which has kept me enjoying construction for so long. I live in Franklin with my wife Cassandra and three boys. 

The River Ridge Name

I spent my childhood in a house that my dad built on River Ridge Court in Bellevue. I wanted to find a way to honor him which is why I chose the name. A painting of that house, which hung in the entry of our home my entire childhood, now hangs in my office. Unfortunately, my dad passed away before I started the company, but I know he is watching everything I do. I can only hope to make him as proud as he made me.

Our Motto

"Do the next right thing"  

This is a saying I heard a long time ago which my father engrained in me. It is easy to say but sometimes hard to do. I have never regretted doing the right thing.
